## About Erdut

Erdut is a Danube crossing in eastern Slavonia, a few dozen kilometres from Osijek. The bridge leads to Bogojevo on the Serbian side, from where roads fan out towards Sombor and Novi Sad. It suits drivers who want to get from northern Croatia into Vojvodina without fighting through the motorway crossing at Bajakovo – for example when continuing from the Croatian coast southwards through Serbia. The crossing handles cars only.

In the 60-day comparison Erdut is the best of the four published Croatia–Serbia crossings. Leaving Croatia for Serbia typically takes a little under an hour and a half, and that figure barely moves during the week: the gap between the best day, Tuesday, and the worst, Sunday, is only a few minutes.
