In the Bieszczady mountains, a few kilometres from Ustrzyki Dolne, national road 84 from Sanok ends at the Krościenko–Smilnytsia crossing. The Ukrainian side is the Sambir district of the Lviv region, with a road on to Staryi Sambir and Sambir.
