South of Szeged and away from the M5/E75 motorway lies the small crossing of Tiszasziget – Đala. On the Serbian side it opens onto the Novi Kneževac area of northern Banat. Cars are processed in both directions, and the crossing works above all as a bypass for drivers who would rather not queue at Röszke.
